body / negative is the solo project of composer Andy Schiaffino. They create field recording-based ambient works often recorded in lo-fi capacities, described best as “unfinished, perfectly imperfect” pieces. Schiaffino\'s second full length album, \"Everett,\" mastered by Slowdive\'s Simon Scott and co-produced in part by Madeline Johnston of Midwife, was released December 8, 2023 on Track Number Records. In addition to their two self-recorded albums and debut EP, Schiaffino has scored two independent short films directed by Jordan Pfeifer: Noxious (2021) and Ingestion (2024). Tracks from Schiaffino\'s 2020 album \"Fragments\" have been featured on HBO\'s Search Party, NBC\'s Good Girls, and a Vice Essentials webseries.
