Iraq\'s first leading lady. She played the role of \'Aliya\' in the Iraqi film \'Aliya and Issam\' in 1949 alongside Salima Murad. In the 1950s, she opened a nightclub in Al-Karrada and focused on singing there, distancing herself from radio and television. Her artistic news faded away in the late 1950s.
