丹尼·博伊尔（Danny Boyle），1956年10月20日出生于英国曼彻斯特，毕业于班戈大学，英国电影导演、编剧、制作人。

1994年，丹尼·博伊尔执导个人第一部剧情片《浅坟》，该片获得第48届英国电影和电视艺术学院奖亚历山大·柯达奖最佳英国电影 。1996年，凭借执导的剧情片《猜火车》获得西雅图影展最佳导演奖。2000年，执导冒险片《海滩》，获得第50届柏林国际电影节金熊奖提名。

2002年，拍摄惊悚科幻片《惊变28天》，获得第30届土星奖最佳导演提名。2007年，执导太空灾难科幻片《太阳浩劫》 。2008年，执导爱情片《贫民窟的百万富翁》，获得第81届奥斯卡金像奖最佳导演奖 。2009年，担任第12届上海国际电影节“金爵奖”评委会主席 。2010年，执导以真实故事为题材的冒险片《127小时》，该片获得第64届美国电影电视金球奖提名 。2012年，丹尼·博伊尔担任第30届伦敦奥运会开幕式艺术总监总导演 。2015年，执导传记片《史蒂夫·乔布斯》 。
