丹尼斯·维伦纽瓦（Denis Villeneuve），1967年10月3日出生于加拿大魁北克，加拿大电影导演、编剧，毕业于魁北克大学蒙特利尔分校。

1988年，执导剧情短片《La course destination monde》，从而正式开启了他的导演生涯。2000年，执导剧情片《迷情漩涡》获得第20届加拿大基尼奖最佳导演奖 [1] 。2008年，凭借剧情短片《下一层》获得第61届戛纳电影节影评人周单元“Canal+ 电视台”奖 [2] 。2010年，执导剧情片《焦土之城》，并获得第30届加拿大基尼奖最佳导演奖 [3] 、最佳改编剧本奖 [4] ，还入围第83届奥斯卡金像奖最佳外语片奖提名 [5] 。

2013年，执导犯罪悬疑片《囚徒》，该片获得第38届多伦多国际电影节人民选择奖最佳故事片奖提名 [6] 。2015年，执导犯罪剧情片《边境杀手》，该片获得第68届戛纳国际电影节金棕榈奖提名 [7] 。2016年，执导科幻剧情片《降临》获得第89届奥斯卡金像奖最佳导演奖提名 [8] 。2017年，执导科幻片《银翼杀手2049》获得第71届英国电影学院奖最佳导演奖提名 [9] 。2018年，担任第71届戛纳国际电影节评委会成员 [10] 。2021年10月22日，执导的科幻电影《沙丘》在北美上映 [56] 。
