Bachelor\'s degree in Social Communications at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and a degree in Directing by CCC. In 2003 he finished his first documentary feature film La canción del pulque. His subsequent work was Los ladrones viejos and El cielo abierto, both have won awards and honorable mentions.
