Fernando Grisi is a young Brazilian LGBT director and screenwriter, with a degree in Screenwriting from the New York Film Academy and an Audiovisual degree from the University of Brasília. Member of A24 Brasil since 2021, Fernando attended the most important film festivals in the world, such as the Cannes Film Festival, the New York Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival (selected fot the Media Inclusion Initiative) and Mostra SP. His first short film, Fruity (2023), played at the biggest children\'s film festival in Brazil, and has over 4 million views on YouTube. The medium-length film The Beautiful Room Is Empty (2025) is his final college project, and there is already a feature-length version of it being developed with public funding.
