Hayder Rothschild Hoozeer is a BAFTA-winning film producer and founder of WHO\'S HERE? PRODUCTIONS. He champions cinematic stories of wonder, inspiration, and how adversity shapes us. His acclaimed short Rock, Paper, Scissors reflects his commitment to filmmaking that challenges perceptions and boldly influences how we understand the world.From a background of abuse & homelessness as a youth, Hayder is inspired by how people\'s lives impact their sense of self & perspective and how using film as escapism can help those enduring hardships. His focus is the exploration of complex relationships & multi-faceted characters, challenging audiences\' everyday perspectives.
Hayder is now developing and producing a slate of short, feature & TV projects under his production label \'Who\'s Here? Productions\'.
Previously awarded a BAFTA Kirsh Scholarship 2020-2022 and a Toledo scholarship (by renowned producer and former chairman of BAFTA Duncan Kenworthy) to pursue a Producing Fiction MA at The National Film & Television School - Hayder graduated in February 2023.
\'Rock, Paper, Scissors\', Directed by Franz Böhm, is the graduation short film from the NFTS, which played at the BFI Southbank in February 2024. The film had its World Premiere at the Academy Award® Qualifying Show Me Shorts Film Festival 2024. It was also an official selection at the BAFTA and BIFA qualifying film festivals: Aesthetica 2024 & British Urban Film Festival 2024.
\'Sayeh (Shadow)\' had its World Premiere at the Academy Award® Qualifying Film Festival, ShortShorts 2024, in Japan, where it was nominated for an audience award. It was also an official selection for the Academy Award® Qualifying, Cleveland International Film Festival 2024 and The Academy Award® Qualifying, Bronze Lens Film Festival 2024.
Before the NFTS, Hayder worked in the production department for feature films & High-End TV dramas, with credits including \'Blue Story\', \'Brian & Charles\', \'Everybody\'s Talking About Jamie\' and \'County Lines\'. He\'s taken a ground-up approach, starting as a runner/driver, progressing to a production coordinator/manager for Feature & HETV and producing short films, music promos and commercials.
