Jeremy Malvin is an American musician, producer, and DJ, best known for his electronic project Chrome Sparks. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he began playing drums at the age of two and later joined the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra as a percussionist. He studied classical percussion at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. While in college, he started producing electronic music, initially under the moniker Professor Purple, before adopting the name Chrome Sparks. Malvin gained significant attention in 2012 with the release of his track \"Marijuana,\" which topped Hype Machine\'s charts. He has since released several EPs and a self-titled debut album in 2018. His music is characterized by a blend of classical percussion, analog synthesizers, and electronic beats. Malvin has also toured extensively and collaborated with various artists, including Kllo and Angelica Bess.
