Karl-Arne Holmsten was a Swedish stage and screen actor. He made his film debut in Ragnar Arvedson\'s \"Kustens glada kavaljerer\" in 1938. Karl-Arne Holmsten portrayed the elegant detective John Hillman in five films by Arne Mattsson, based on Folke Mellvig\'s novels. He also played Maria Lang\'s detective Christer Wijk in two films.
