Mandeep Raj is an actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur known for his contributions to Punjabi and international cinema. Born on December 25, 1969, in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India, he moved to the United States in 1989, where he pursued a career in entertainment. Initially recognized for his efforts in promoting Punjabi language and culture, he later expanded into filmmaking, directing and producing acclaimed short films such as Sikh Sardari, Regret, and Bachi Balackeya 1 & 2. Mandeep also founded Punjab 1TV, a global Punjabi television channel, and later launched MJ Film Empire in California, producing the film Target Down. Despite industry challenges, his resilience and passion continue to drive his work in bridging cultures through imperatively storytelling.
