梅尔文·布拉格人物介绍

梅尔文·布拉格男爵（1939年10月6日出生）是英国著名广播人、作家及国会议员，身兼荣誉勋位成员、皇家学会外籍院士、皇家文学学会院士及英国学术院院士。他最为人熟知的身份是独立电视台《南岸秀》节目（1978-2010年）的编辑兼主持人，以及英国广播公司第四电台纪录片系列《我们的时代》的创始人。

职业生涯早期，布拉格曾在BBC担任多个职位。1988年他重返BBC，主持第四电台的《开启一周》节目。1998年受封贵族后，他转而主持全新的学术讨论广播节目《我们的时代》，该节目至今已播出900余期，亦是广受欢迎的播客节目。1999年至2017年间，他还担任利兹大学校长。
