Mohamed Bouftas人物介绍

He is a Moroccan journalist, novelist, and screenwriter born on March 3, 1961, in the village of Izerbi, administratively part of the city of Tafraout. He grew up in a quiet mountainous environment, rich in cultural and spiritual symbols. He received his education in Casablanca, from primary school to university, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Literature from Hassan II University, followed by a diploma in advanced studies from Mohammed V University in Rabat. He began his journalistic career in 1981, working for several national publications such as Al-Bayan, Risalat Al-Umma, and Al-Mithaq Al-Watani. He also founded his own newspaper, Madain, before later transitioning into communication agencies and screenwriting. Alongside his journalism career, he worked as a professor of Arabic language starting in 1988 and remained committed to the profession even after his retirement. In the literary world, he published his first novel The Collapse in 1986, followed by several narrative and poetic works, including Fantasia of Hell, The Kingdom of Women, The Gypsy’s Poems, and Goodbye, Mother. In the field of screenwriting, he contributed to notable works in Moroccan drama, including The Wolves’ Struggle, Coffee Half-Half, Inspector Qasim, and The Devils Do Not Repent.
