Nicola\'s short films have screened at festivals such as Montreal, Clermont Ferrand, LSFF, Aesthetica, Encounters, Busan and Valladolid. She was chosen for the London Film Festival Talent Lab, and won a UK Film Council Completion Fund award and a 35mm print award from the British Council. Three of her short films have been bought for broadcast by Shorts International.
