Sam Gold is a theater director and actor. He has directed both musicals and plays, on Broadway and Off-Broadway. He won the 2015 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for Fun Home. He\'s currently working on a film adaptation he\'s set to direct, of Fun Home, which will be co-starring Jake Gyllenhaal, who\'s producing it as well.
